How to Pick Up Girls

Back in my youth, when Hustler had the attraction of being the only venue for seeing hot women nude, I saw ads for books with titles like "How to Pick Up Girls". I aways thought these books were a joke, but once again, the virtual world of the internet shapes the real world. Apparently, there is quite a large group of guys who discuss pick-up techniques. Who reads this? College guys? HS guys? I wonder, if a guy names his site "Thundercat Seduction Lair", is he really a "PUA" or just an "AFC"?
